Cutting Edge Non-Traditional Tax firm is seeking a Full-Time experienced Tax Associate for the following position:
Responsibilities:
- Be able to prepare business and personal tax returns for small business clients from initial meeting through delivery and filing of returns
- Manage client load
- Communicate with clients
- Organize and update the tax database
- Record tax entries into accounting software
- Understand and apply tax reduction strategies
- Preparation and/or review of financial statements
Requirements:
- Tax Preparation Experience is preferred
- Proven work experience as a Tax Associate is preferred
- Basic knowledge of the tax code for individuals and small business
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- QuickBooks accounting software experience
- Computer literacy, numerical skills, and attention to detail

- Organize and update the tax database
- Record tax entries into accounting software
- Understand and apply tax reduction strategies
- Preparation and/or review of financial statements
Requirements:
- 3 years of Tax Preparation Experience is a Must
- Proven work experience as a Tax Senior/Tax Associate
- Basic knowledge of the tax code for individuals and small business
- Must be a licensed tax preparer, EA, or CPA
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- QuickBooks accounting software experience
- Computer literacy, numerical skills, and attention to detail
